Do panic attacks happen with children? Part 3

It is highly difficult for children to express their feeling and emotions verbally. They can be embarrassed while speaking about their problems or just fear to do this in order not to be misunderstood. Parents, in their turn, being unable to identify panic disorder in their children, can make the existing situation just worse. There are some symptoms of panic attacks below in order for parents to determine them properly: - Short breathing and suffocation feeling;
- Elevated heart rate;
- Sudden trembling;
- Feeling of doom;
- Unreasonable sadness and irritation;
- Nausea;
- Fear of death;
- Loss or increase of appetite;
- Sleeping problems.
Unfortunately, a great number of panic attacks happen with children in class, what makes them feel helpless and miserable. In severe cases they even avoid school and communication. If you notice such symptoms with your children, you should immediately consult a doctor, who will choose the best technique for you in order to get rid of panic attacks.
